My Application Was Declined, What Do I Do Now?

It can be frustrating to apply for a lease to buy something you need and be rejected. But just because your application was declined today doesn't mean that you won't be approved in the near future.

Why was my application declined?

When your application is declined, we display the reason the lender gave us in a red alert box at the top of the web page. If the error is not descriptive enough to satisfy you, please contact the lender to whom your application was sent and they can provide further information.

How long after a declined application should I re-apply?

You may re-apply for a lease after 30 days, and no matter how many times you apply your credit score will remain unaffected. Sometimes a lender may want to see that your employment or residency is consistent, or other small things. If you apply again before 30 days has passed, your application will be automatically declined.
